Anyone experienced the Octo trojan?

That or something similar landed on my phone a week or so ago. It eluded my antimalware program and attempted to interpose itself between my QR download and the webpage it was suppose to show. Here is what I saw:

As you can see, it wants your complete credit card details.
Just wondering how it was removed.
 
Those are all browser redirects, no malware or octo whatever. Start using a good ad blocker that will stop these from popping up and you'll be fine.
Personally I use Adguard, which is not in the play store but is 100 percent safe and I've been using it for years without ever an issue. Get it here :
