Help Anyone got a replacement through Asus?

I was going to do my replacement through the store I got it from but after being told different times for them getting stock in, they say it might now be another month at least.
So I am thinking of trying doing it through Asus directly.
Has anyone done it through Asus? If so, what's the process, how long etc?

well, if the Transformer Prime debacle is any indication...you know what let's skip the story, it took almost three weeks to get mine and my friend's replacement primes back, and they had multiple issues. Customer service wasn't bad and they did eventually replace both of them. since it is Google branded, maybe they can be pressed for faster satisfaction.
