[App help] Droid Nas issues.

Hey guys I'm trying to connect my htc one black t mobile to my mac using Droid Nas app and ever since i upgrading my mac to maverick it wont allow me to connect my htc to my mac. I searched around for some help and found out I can force connect my htc by pressing command+k to enter the server name ex. "smb://servername" but when i do that it ask's me for the server password which i never setup for(I went ahead and set a password up on my phone). I enter the password then another popup appears that sais "there was a problem connecting to server". I have done everything correct but still no luck. Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated!

Moved to app section to get more eyes on this issue who use the app with Mac.

My initial questions :

Have you contacted the Dev of the app?
Have you tried a different cable? Different computer?

it does not require a wire just your internet wifi to connect your phone to the mac as a server. did not contact the dev.
