Help Applications dont work using egde connectivity

Hello Guys,

In fact using the Mobile Network data connectivity, that uses edge, is weird , I can access any site freely with no problem.
The point is non of the whole my Desire HD applications can access the internet while using EDGE, I cant access ( Gmail, Maps,Facebook, Whatsapp... etc) nothing at all. only websites over the browser.

anyone with the same issue ? or have ideas ?

with orange and based in the UK, it's rare nowadays i ever get an 'E' symbol when data is being used on my phone. it's mainly HSDPA or 3G, with sprikles of GPRS in the country side. personally havent encountered an issue with any apps connecting to the net with any connectivity inc EDGE.
