Applications on SD Card?

I did a search and couldn't find anything about doing this with the Eris....
Anyone know how to store applications on the micro SD card? Hopefully they will be usable.....

You can back up many apps to the SD caed using a file manager. You can't run apps from the SD card, yet. Google is actually working on a way to do it that will prevent app piracy.

With root you can do both.

actually, i asked this question a while ago in the root section and its NOT possible . . . . yet.
