Are there any App genre comparison charts?

Like most people it seems that sometimes there's just too much choice - it would be helpful in terms of saving time if I could find a source that compiled a list of functions/capabilities and prices etc for a particular genre eg Podcasts. I'm migrating from ipod/itunes to using just my Android phone and getting lost in all the info from different apps.
