Are there thinner extended batteries?

I love this phone for the most part but of course I wish I had more battery life. I've seen extended batteries and the ones for this phone make the phone look like a brick. I'm wondering if there are thinner batteries (and their phone backing cases) around and if not how come? The Droid Maxx seems to be relatively thin with a big time battery. How come we can't get one?

razr is still thin because it was anorexic to begin with. it was like 7mm and now it's 9mm.

there is no way to have equal or more capacity without a thicker battery, so if you any battery on Ebay that claims more capacity without a need for a new back cover, stay away from it.

your only options is an extra battery, lots of chargers, or a thicker battery

i just keep two extra batteries. I almost never need them though, mainly when camping.
