3rd time lucky for a full roll out for the June update for the global, Exynos, S21 series???

It looks as though Samsung has now pulled the 2 previous June releases, AUE8 & AUF2, in favour of this latest release, AUF6.

This latest update is the 13th for the Global, Exynos, S21 series and is currently being rolled out by Samsung.

This update is for camera, general bugfixes and June security patch.

Initially, as always, this is rolling out to the non-carrier branded, stock Samsung CSC codes first.

The Galaxy S21 Global, Exynos, devices that will receive this update are...
  • S21 5G model SM-G991B
  • S21+ 5G model SM-G996B
  • S21 Ultra 5G model SM-G998B
This latest release replaces the G99*BXXU3AUE1/G99*BXXU3AUE8/G99*BXXU3AUF2builds.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you.

Changelog

    • Performance of camera has been improved
    • The security of your device has been improved
The update = G99*BXXU3AUF6

Download = 477.94MB

Build date = 09 June 2021

Release date = 17 June 2021

Camera version = 11.0.03.10

One UI version = 3.1

Android Security patch = June 2021

This is the 13th stable update in 143 days. Average = 1 update every 11 days.

(N.B. This post will be updated as more information becomes available)

Carrier branded phones for U.K. carrier O2 on CSC code O2U are now receiving the AUF6 update.

Still nothing from U.K. carriers, Vodafone, CSC VOD, or Three on CSC H3G.

The stock Samsung, non carrier branded, AUF6 update was released 21st June for the U.K. on CSC code BTU.

U.K. carrier EE on CSC code EVR were quickest off the mark this time and their AUF6 firmware update was certified by them and released by Samsung, 23rd June.

Here is an oddity... Samsung have just rolled out an AUF6 update for German stock firmware on CSC code DBT that is, it would appear, identical in every way to the previous AUF6 update, except for the Baseband/modem build has been upgraded from AUF9 to AUFC.

Camera, kernel and Android Security patch remain the same as does the change list number.

The only thing that I can think of is that it is a beta firmware test and that it will be incorporated in the imminent July update.

System information for AUF6 mark 2 for Germany (DBT)

AUF6 firmware for the carrier branded S21 devices on the the THREE U.K. network has finally just been released for CSC code H3G.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you. Alternatively, connect your device to Samsung's PC suite, Smart Switch.
