works like a charm. scan both and 2D and 3D barcodes and get the information encoded in them. And because it's android, it works with other programs.

You are confusing 1D barcodes with 2D barcodes and 2D barcodes with 3D.

1D barcodes are the old style with vertical lines that you generally see at a store.

2D barcodes or QR are the fancy sets of black and white blocks that you see on ads now

3D barcodes really do have depth. They are generally etched directly into a product. 3D barcodes can either be lines or boxes.

Hereby, i would like to attract your kind attention regarding 3D technology of barcode as i have read and searched about this advanced introduction of direct part marketing technique. It is upgrading the real-time tracking and mobile marketing with profoundly utilization of 2d barcode features (QR Code) efficiently by using Smart Phones for various industrial purposes.

Now i would like to know more about other tools availability to scan and read the 3D barcode.

I use Shop Savvy instead and like the way it works. YMMV...
