Help Battery Issue

When I go to About Phone > Battery > Battery use, it shows my display as using around 70% when it has been off since I unplugged the phone from the charger. I do not have a live wallpaper.

How can this be?

Phone is running 2.3.3.

My wife just got a new Sprint HTC EVO 4G. I noticed this phenomenon on hers as well. The best I can guess is that the screen just uses a lot of juice because it is big. She still easily manages over a day of use on one charge though, and that is twenty-four hours and not eight hours.

Thanks for the reply. Don't know how I missed that thread, but that's my exact problem.
