    Hi,
I picked up my new Droid 3 from Verizon a few hours ago and they could not activate it, due to something being down. Said I could do it from home. Now I get to the screen and press "activate" and nothing happens. Any advice? With appreciation.

You won't be able to activate it from home if you need to sign up for a data plan. This is what happened with my son's D3. They have to do it there. Their computers were "down" earlier. This happens once every blue moon. Try calling them later.
