Not sure if this has been talked about here, but i was doing some searching and found a fix for listening to music thorugh your standard (mono) bluetooth earpiece.

Works great for me because i listen to a lot of audiobooks, so i dont need stereo sound.

You can do this. Got it off of one of the links
1. save the audio file to the sd card
2. put the phone into vibrate
3. open the phone menu and call **
4. open your file manager and open the audio file
works for the droid eris and I have been using this method for a couple days now, no issues
