Help Bluetooth issues

My phone is paired to my car which is a 2013 Kia the paired symbol is both on my phone and on my car screen when I attempt to make a call through the car tyne Bluetooth does not work and the symbol vanishes when the call hangs up the Bluetooth symbol comes back on.. any ideas or is anyone else having this issue?

On the phone, press the car's connection in Bluetooth. See what profiles it has. It may be only a media connection, not a phone connection. (That would mean that your car isn't capable of handling calls via Bluetooth, and the only thing you could do about it is to replace the car's sound system with one that's capable of handling phone calls.)

I have a 2012 Kia optima and my Bluetooth stereo works fine with my s5, no problems with calls or streaming

It worked fine with my S4. All profiles are checked. It works right up till you make the call. Once you make the call, Bluetooth disconnects.
