Root Browser crashes on CM 10.2 - need help please

com.android.browser dies immediately on launch after updating to CM 10.2. I have re-flashed several times being careful to ensure all steps are followed - each time the browser dies immediately its launched without an error msg, the rest of the phone functions normally and appears stable.

I'd really appreciate any tips on how to debug & resolve or suggestions of alternative versions of CM 10.2 ROMS & GAPPS that others have had success with. Critical to get to Android 4.0+ for some apps I need.

Versions in use
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5820 (rooted)
Recovery: CWM 5.0.2.6-Cooper
ROM: cm-10.2-20131003-UNOFFICIAL-cooper
Google apps: gapps-jb-20130813-signed

I also re-flashed with an earlier google apps (gapps-jb-20130301-signed), but the browser crashes just the same.

Update for the benefit of others - I have since resolved this by flashing an updated 10.2 Modded ROM from here: [ROM][CM10.2] - modded - [stable-20140309] [nightly-20140101] - OTA - xda-developers
It also doesn't require Google Apps to be flashed as its already integrated.
So far its worked very well and I would recommend this to others.
