Just wondering if there are any shortcuts in the browser for things like new window, bookmarks, reload, etc without needing to use the menu button and then the options listed.

Try dolphin browser from the market. You can customize gestures and the browser is far superior to the stock one.

i've found that pressing and holding the back button brings up recent history and pressing and holding the trackball brings up additional options on the standard browser.

Dolphin browser is like an enhanced mobile version of Firefox. That's all I gotta say...

Tried Dolphin, and dont like it at all.

What would be nice is if Opera 10 was on Android.

much slower than stock, not intuitive layout, hero reset after leaving app using home button on 2 occasions. Also cleared my Google bookmarks

I'll stick with stock until Opera Mobile 10 beta comes to Android.
