If you say so.. However the developer doesn't say it. They don't say on the app page, or on their website.

And passwords mean nothing if you write the lock or a backdoor and a set of permissions to allow you to grab that data on a whim.

The fact the developer doesn't have a privacy policy, is a major warning sign that they haven't thought about these issues, or that they don't consider users important enough to share this information with them.

If everything did stay local then there's no need for network access at all...

It may be the developer is a paragon of virtue... And just naive... But either way, trust is everything in an app like this, and if you have reasons to doubt it, you shouldn't use it.
