Help buttons on handsfree wont work

I wondered if someone could help, I cant get the buttns (pause forward and back) on my handsfree headset to work when playing music. The accept incoming call button will work but not with music, they used to work a week or so ago is it a faulty headset or software? Thanks

the software works, it uses the correct a2dp protocol to allow for headset controls. Are you using hte default music app?

I had the same issue when using meridian media player, after I removed it I could pause and play using my car stereo.
