Buying a Phone before CES...looks like there is no reason to wait

It looks like the EVO Shift (disappointment imo) is the only Sprint phone being announced at CES. Sure, there will be more announced after at MWC, but the phones are most likely six months away. In the end, its not economically efficient to keep waiting.

There is never a reason to wait. A lot of hype almost never turns out into anything real.

I'd say that's a fair point. Also, you'd still be within the 30-day time frame if something did release at CES that you liked. So, buy now and enjoy!

Why wait when you have EVO, Epic or EVO Shift (soon), one year upgrades, and the best plans on Sprint?

I agree. Went ahead and signed up with the Optimus yesterday. Tired of waiting. Hoping they somehow bring something surprising to the table but I doubt it. Sure wish Sprint got a phone like the mytouch 4G running stock.
