Calendar app to replace Palm TX app

I am looking for a DEsire calendar app to replace my Palm TX calendar.

I simply require:-

Enter new event, without alarm or with alarm days, hours, minutes in advance
Add/Edit note to event before, during or after event
Add anniversary; repeat yearly
search calender events by word; including past events e.g Event on 14th June 2008 "Royal College of Music Museum at Royal College of Music in Prince Consort Rd. " search by "music" would find this event plus any others with music.

Need to store past events back to 1997 ideally including anniversaries going back to 1900; Palm goes back to 1974 (have added note to anniversary if started before 1974)

I think that the Desire Calendar does not allow the addition of Notes to an event. I am right?

My use of a calendar is simple but vital.

Any advice please
