I have a mytouch 3g running android v 2.1 and rooted with the cyanogen 5.0.8-ds mod I would like to know if I can update to android v2.2 by use of the manual update method ? I see nothng in the settings like check for updates I am assuming that option was taken away when the phone was rooted .
