I have a Mac and no access to a PC. Can I still root my phone? If so, please tell me HOW to go about it.

I think the only way is to install Windows on your Mac. :p

Real helpful I know. Sorry. Pretty sure running the Sprint Update Utility is the only way. :(

I have tried with my mac and even running WinXP via Virtual Box but it does not seem to pick up the USB connection. I have no problems connecting and moving files to the SD card though once I rooted it on my work laptop.
