I flashed the underworld kernel v8 by ca1ne and my gmail is working again!! and youtube is operational!! lol! THANK YOU!!!

Yep, caine brought his kernel up to source with hdmwin so full hdmi but you'll still need to use the hdmwin app from the google play store

Just to clarify - no app is needed for HDMI mirroring on Gingerbread Sense. You just need a kernel with the code included. In fact, the app will usually break mirroring.

Thanks! Maybe I'm having a brain fart here ( I do sometimes), you specified Gingerbread Sense....what about Gingerbread AOSP such as Decks Reloaded.? Do I just need the kernel for that or the app also.?

In the case of Gingerbread AOSP, I believe a compatible kernel and the app is required. I don't know for sure as I don't use AOSP.

I thought that might be the case after I plugged the hdmi cable in and it started mirroring before i had launched hdmwin.. lol. I think I might turn my processor up a smidgen, mikG 3.1 seems to be running a little slow on my phone.

That's good to know, thanks. Caine must have updated the code because I was still having to use the app when I flashed lithid's kernels and it worked flawlessly
