car phone charger

Have tried three different car phone chargers in two different cars but they havenot worked. Has anyone had similar problems or knows the answer

Bought mine from the o2 shop when I got the phone m8 and its fine, its a Nokia lead but I think there standard mini usb now so dont think it matters about the make.

Have you got anything else you can plug in the car to see that the sockets not gone ?

Mine is just a 3rd party one from Kondor, got it in the t-mobile shop and it works fine.

The X10 (and many other new phones like all Nokia) requires the data cables D+ and D- to be shorted together. You can easily modify your charger or your cable. My charger had D+ and D- connected to GND and VCC via resistors. They had to be removed before it worked properly.
