i really debated this for a long time....when i firt had my hero i cased it an then when i stoped caring so much i kept it naked...this thing i decided to case with a seidio case...its still very this and very nice...i suggest it unless u pay for a warranty or something...if not, then pick this up....id hate to break this thing and buy another one at full price

Picked up my phone and had it in my new seidio case within 2 hours....wouldn't have it any other way.

I have the body glove from the Sprint store and HTC leather case. It's too tight of a fit with the body glove so back the leather case is going. I'll have to get a generic case that works better.

the gel case is inexpensive slip on protection for the evo.

I've only owned 3 individual phones in 7 years. I must be easy on them or something. The Evo is already huge, I couldn't see adding even more size.

I'll have the insurance plan if anything bad ever happens.

I tossed the Zagg front and back on today. I used my Hero naked and my Instinct before that the same way. The armor is not bad, i would have not bought the back doing it again, i thought it had pieces that would wrap the sides, but it does not. So really you are paying extra to protect the plastic back piece which your camera lens makes first contact with anything first anyways.

I am honestly liking this Zaggs front shield so far, i was a naked guy also forever =).

Front left pocket (knife clips on right pocket, and keys go in right pocket as well).
No case.
I did get a screen protector (whatever one the Sprint store had).
Although when the screen protector gets bad, I will probably go with nothing.
Last phone was a HTC Touch Pro. Owned since release day, never dropped, no scratches. (strangely the ultra thin batter cover did begin to crack though, and there was a small crack on the side). Just due to age I suppose....

My EVO is mostly nude.

Seidio Innocase II Surface (Best Buy PT version) and Ultimate Screen Guard for me, lots less to worry about. I do understand the appeal of a naked device though....

Front left pocket all by itself, so it's nude; haven't had a case for any phone in recent history, except briefly with my Instinct, and I hated that in short order.

was gonna leave it naked...but then i tried on the sprint silicone case and i actually liked it. perfect size, not big at all, doesn't add much bulk to the phone, and it protects it.
