Root [CDMA] Help! Need to unroot

I have tried numerous ways from this site as well as others. The RUUs I have tried all give me an error message. I am trying to unroot my 3D. I have 1.5 and S-On. I unlocked via HTC Dev. At this time, I can't even flash a new ROM. It just gets stuck on the splash screen. Please, someone help me.
 
CAn someone please write detailed instructions on how to go back to stock rom and remove 4ext? On hboot 1.5 and s-on using htc dev method!
 
The link I gave you is the proper way, unfortunately the hide tag are having issues, so I ask the Admin to fix and disable it until it gets resolved, check it in a bit and it should have the info you need. It has been reported. ;)
 
Thanks, Don. I tried that link once before and the tags were not working, as you said. They appear to be working now. I have tried similar methods and when I ran the RUU I would get error 140 bootloader version error.

question! i have recovery 4ext. do i just bypass that completely and just run the ruu.exe from windows???
