How To Clearing contacts in Favorite

I was trying to clear my contacts in my the favorites and i can t figure out how without deleting the contact. I can clear the call log but not the
favorites. I don t want to delete my contacts just clear my numbers and contacts. Any ideas? This is for my Motorola Droid 1 with Verizon.

Umm, I think that is synced from your Gogoel contacts online, in hte Most contacted field. And unfortunately, see https://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/5Ug3GlWrMso

Here is an approach that *MAY* work, but it involves some work...

I haven't tried it yet, but I suppose a quicker way would be to export all contacts, then delete all contact sin GMail, and the import back.....

But as soon as you start calling / SMSing / emailing people that list will auto populate again.....
