If I go out of town, I will dust off the old tracfone, that I used to call home, when I went to louisiana for hurricane relief, put 20.00 on it, and call it a day. No roaming charges whatsoever. It worked pretty good too!
 
Turned on my tracfone today to send a message to my ascend, to check for double messages in handcent, to my surprise, it still read full batt, wow! Great phone for roaming, cause there's no charge whatsoever, call Quality is crisp, even from louisiana, all the way to Pittsburgh, but their idea of using the web sucks, if you want to just call, they're great. Keep one around, for out of town action. But, don't get me wrong, love my ascend.
