Root Didn't take long... bricked phone

Installed superfast rom had everything running smooth... went to try and install a theme... flashed in in clockwork... and it just loaded witht he "samsung" screen and it wouldn't go away. tried to reflash dl09, and i got a green screen. not sure what to do... if anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated.
 
a weird phone and computer with a yellow exclamation point comes up in the middle when i try and turn it on now

I would just wait till someone with a bit more knowledge is around. It is a ok sign the phone still turns on.. dont want to cause more issues with another flash till someone can help you to make sure that would be the best next step.
 
My guess is you crossed versions between DJ05 and DL09 somewhere in there or something like that. Hopefully the revery back to stock works for ya.

The first link is Odin, the second one is the file you need to get back to stock DJ01, you can update to DL09 via over the air update.

To use Odin, open it, take your phone battery out, and as you are plugging the usb cable into the phone, hold the volume down button, you should get a black and yellow screen that says downloading. Now after the second link file is done downloading, click in ODIN PDA option, then find that file you download from the second link (DI01package3.tar.md5)

After that is flashed, and is successful, you will be completely stock.

I recommend you stay stock for awhile til you have a good understanding in rooting.. I'm not trying to be a jerk, and say your stupid, I'm just recommending it this way, so something like this doesn't happen again. I've almost bricked 2 phones. I'm done with this stuff.. I un-rooted my Fascinate today

I love how people on here aren't quick to jump on you and call you an idiot for being too brash with these devices... just thought I'd throw that in lol. and i appreciate the help and the advice i don't consider constructive criticism being a jerk at all.. I'm mad appreciative the community here is open and eager to help.

i got d101 flashed, then flashed dl09, now i'm rerooting.. i assume that since i backed up my last ROM with clockwork before i went into epic fail mode i will be able to recover where i was before i f'd up. trying that now.

I should have just asked really..

but how is it possible to flash a dl0f theme and then the fix if my phone is stuck in the "bootloop?" i don't quite understand that...
 
got it actually... figured it out. the way i learn is through trial and error... and that really doesn;t fly with 600 dollar devices hanging in the balance lol

Yeah flashing dj05 themes over dl09 requires crushd theme fix over in fascinate development at xda (has to be flashed each time you want to go to another dj05 theme

I know it can be scary....but your never bricked if you can get into recovery and your computer recognizes your phone. :) and even if you can't there's still a good chance of getting fixed up

Odin is your friend....but usually you can just restore a backup if you can boot into cwr
 
Haha when I couldn't get my phone to start my heart literally sank. But I felt twice as good once i realized how easy it was to get everything back up and working again.
