Help Email Setting Question

While in email, I go to Email > Menu> More> Settings> Send and Receive > Download Options, by default it is only set to 3 days. If I change this to All so that all my emails that are in Gmail, will be displayed...will this take up any of the phone memory? Or...will it slow down my phone in any way? I guess the most important question would be...is there any downside to doing this?

Also..I never really archive old emails, and just let them sit there but am not close to my Gmail limit.

I think you should try it and let us know.

For my 3 email accounts, work and 2 personal. I set them to 30 days because I never go back further than that from my phone. Do you need to have all emails on your phone?

I guess another question would be is there any benefit to doing this? If you scroll down it automatically loads more emails and if you search it goes through everything online. the only benefit would be having all emails when you don't have a connection.
