EVO 3D dock and other accessories coming soon.

I would guess it would depend on the case size, but I don't see why they could not offer one with the case, charger, & battery, etc....

Seriously. Ugh, I'm so let down. I thought it would *be* the MHL adapter, i.e., have USB and HDMI ports. So this is basically a $50 USB extender cable disguised as a plastic stand? Heck, I was hoping it would also have a separate audio out so you could use it as an (forgive the analogy) "ipod dock" to hook up to speakers.

C'mon third-parties, time to step it up. While you're at it, leave enough wiggle room that it works with at least the thinner 3vo cases.

It's compatible with MHL, which other docks do not seem to be compatible with (at this point). But you need the MHL cable. This thing is just, literally, the stand. Like the iPod dock, without the iPod cable. That's it.
 
I think that is a dock mode. I saw under apps there was a dock mode and I never knew it. I probably had one on my EVO and didn't know it. I always kept my EVO at night on my night stand in a dock. I had the Seidio one and I didn't have to take the case off which is why I loved it. But this dual desk dock looks nice. I didn't realize they were out already and being sold. I need to order one from somewhere. I like the mobilefun one but it's not in stock. Don't care for the ebay one that much and it says estimated shipping 2-4 weeks. I hope Seidio makes one again where I can use my Active with the dock. I paid 35 bucks last year for it.

I've been waiting for a dock/cradle that had a slot to charge a second battery simultaneously with the phone and found this one a week ago: (Pre order) HTC EVO 3D 2nd Battery cradle.

It is in pre-order status right now, but I emailed the company and received a response that they expect it to release at the end of July 2011, so it should be out in just a couple of weeks.

I don't see that it does the video out from the dock, but honestly I would rarely use that function whereas I would use the battery charger daily.

Just FYI, it DOES include the charge/data cable and an HTC charger. It does not inlcude the MHL adaptor.

It really should have incoroporated the MHL adaptor in the base and had an HDMI port on the back.

I like that one and I don't need the extra battery slot but that is the style cradle I want. I found one I kind of like for 13.99 on ebay but I was hoping Seidio would make one soon that I could keep my Active case on while in the dock.

If this is wrong and you have one in hand, then by all means, that is a little better.

seems to look nice. any comments? i usually prefer two cables, one for charging battery spare and the other to sync charge phone. this seems to have one option and when you use the sync cable you dont get a strong enough charge from usb.

Oh good I am going to order one payday Friday . :-) I've been waiting and I had one for my EVO 4G and I kept the AC Cord. I had a 15% off coupon code in my email I hope it's still good.

Edit: I'm lucky the coupon code is good till Friday so I can order Thursday night when my paycheck hits my account.
