hello, I would like my evo to do certain stuff that I cant do right now, starting by I am not a fan of the sense UI interface and would like to have the stock froyo launcher in my evo, I also would like the stock dialer and to use the wireless router feature. I have been trying to do this on the stock unrooted evo but it cant be done, so I decided to root the phone. But I dont know what is the best way to go about doing this.

    any help would be appreciated

Definitely do some reading but it sounds like you just need to find a vanilla Android ROM(AOSP) and flash it and you will get your wish!
