Is anyone on Exchange finding the Email app to be running huge CPU percentages and causing the battery to die very quickly?

My Email runs at 17% of the CPU always and keeps 3G connected always. The phone heats up from the second I turn it on and doesnt cool down or stop connecting to 3G until the battery dies.

Any other Exchange users finding these results?

    jamesbrush: What do you mean?

asummerf: thanks that was my experience on 2.1...but not now.

Any smart people know why this happens?

    07/01/2010 13:07:27 [DEBUG]
    NativeCrypto(1586)
    Freeing Open SSL session

    07/01/2010 13:07:51 [DEBUG]
    Dalvikvm(1586)
    GC_FOR_MALLOC freed 7078 objects / 511984
    bytes in 71ms

The Open SSL session repeats every second and the GC session repeats every 5 seconds.

This is likely the cause of the SyncManager stalling and creating my 3G infinite loop.

I'm having the same issue with garbage collection filling up the logs. I'm using CyanogenMod 6.1.1 and 15min sync to an exchange account.
