Favorites....

OK, I have set up a favorites widget, which is awesome that I dont have to go thru the phonebook to get to the people I call the most.....but when I set the favorites, some people have a "card" in the corner of their pic on the widget and it brings up their contact info.....a couple of other have a phone icon and it automatically calls them when I click their name. I cannot for the life of me figure out how I set that or how I can change it. Any ideas?

Those icons refer to the "preferred" method of contacting those people. A "card" is probably a text, a phone call is probably a call to them, etc. By long pressing on the individual within the widget, you can choose a "Default Action"

this was so annoying, i kept calling people by mistake so i just set them all to view contact

Same here, and the thing is, because the phone is so damn fast it manages to ring the recipient's phone once before i get to hang it up lol....

For some reason I kept tapping my mother-in-law's entry on Favorites and we had a few laughs about it. No matter how fast I hit end call, it would ring on her end. The last time I answered her return call, her response was "how's that new phone?".

anyway to have just one contact separate from all the rest so I can put it on my home screen?

Only person I call 99% of the time is my wife and I really don't need to scroll over to my favorite list just to get to her
