Any way to remove or clear this?

Clearing the call log is not working for me. Frequently called is still under favorite contacts above contact list. And all of the apps say its cleared so log must be in a different location than normal. Still searching for fix.

Before you make the workaround then be sure that you have sync your contact with your google account.
Go to settings -- -apps -- all
then find contacts Storage then press clear data.
Now you phone will delete your contacts, then it will sync with your google account right away and your contacts is back and the list is empthy.
This is not the best way but its work for me.
