Galaxy mega target market?

Just out of curious, who do you think Samsung really targeting at with their super-duper-size Galaxy Mega smartphone in the market?

If bigger screen plus a call feature is a smart move, shouldn't all the desktops or laptops add the phone function too?

I'd prefer a Tab 7 3G than a Mega if that were the case. Not so sure about the 6.3 inch version, but the 5.something inch version could probably do for those who wants the Note's size but want something cheaper.

The target audience is people like me! Who have realized that the phone functionality of a "phone" is about the 6th most important part of the mobile device I am buying.

The 5.8's resolution looks proportionate to my Galaxy Player- lousy.
I've got a data enabled 7.0+ and love it but it's just a bit too big for easy portability and the proprietary port is a real bummer.

That is pretty much my thought - they are targetted to the mid-market. My guess the 6.3 is probably next size for the Note 3.

I'd feel a bit ridiculous making calls with something of that size (I'd probably use it handsfree).

It's mid range so I suppose it's targeted at those who don't want (or can't afford?) both a phone and a tablet (or something like the Note/Note 2)?
