Accessories Gel Case Damaging Phone ?

Hi

Has anyone had any problems with the
"BLACK RESIN Soft Gel Case for the HTC DESIRE" from ebay

As it is quite 'firm' I'm concerned over time it will scratch or damage the desire's casing ..

Does anyone know of a decide soft flexible silicon case for the desire. One that can't damage the casing...?

any ideas / or comments ?

I've got this one off Ebay

It's been fine, ok a little 'hard' for plastic but the silicone ones i've had in the past tend to get a bit slack through stretching if you take them on/off quite a bit.

It's not marked the phone body atall so far (doubt it will either) the only thing is it will occasionally catch the edge of the screen protector (i use a Martin Fields one) and lift it on one edge. But i took the case off, re applied the protector and it's been fine since.

I am using this case, it's fantastic in my opinion, it's tough enough to protect the phone but doesn't scratch it, and it gives extra grip which means I'm less likely to drop it ( I find the original desire casing a little slippery).

Looks and feels great, but It feels like it could mark the lower edge of the phone.

The soft one listed how soft is it.. what does it feel like ?

I use the Balck Resin case myself as well.
The only downside for me is the colour.
More brownish than smoked black but its ok.
Also need to press a bit harder the power button on the top.

anyone else with the

HTC DESIRE HYDRO GEL CASE SMOKE BLACK + SCREEN PROTECT
find that the case is lifting the screen protector? mine is lifting it in the top left corner.

i would advise people that are waiting on these to position the screen protector as low as they can down the screen (i positioned mine at the top).
