Help Google Talk won't let me open the download omfg help

My husband told me this morning that he uninstalled google talk from his huawei ascend phone which is the reason he says that when he goes android market, he cannot download anything from there. I went to m.brothersoft.com to re-install google talk followed the steps and when the download was completed a message popped up saying "cannot parse the file

If it doesn't install simply by opening it:
Download the Apk
Use a root file explorer to move the file to the /system/app folder

You could try a different download link using GOOGLE search or do a factory reset. The steps for this are given in the stickies @ the top of the page.
