Hi all, I am new here so hello!

I have a problem with the GPS on my Desire. It's running 2.2 and locked to T-Mobile UK. Whenever I turn GPS on and open Google Maps or Navigation it doesn't find my location anymore.

It will find my location using wi-fi but not satellites despite GPS being on.

I wondered if it was a problem with Maps so reinstalled and I had the same problem. I downloaded ''GPS Test'' from the Market to test my GPS and it just will not pick up a satellite, even if you leave it for ages. I have rebooted my phone and also tried a factory reset and still it will not work.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I am lost without my Sat Nav!

Regards,

Stu

Many thanks for your reply.

The problem started before the 2.2 upgrade so don't think its down to that. I was hoping 2.2 would fix it! It used to work perfectly but all of a sudden it just won't pick anything up. Nothing at all. How do I get the one by Mike Lockwood? The app i downloaded is called 'GPS test', It was just a free one I found in the Market.
