I am somewhat new to the Android platform, I have been "following" it since the initial launch as I am a huge fan of the open source movement. I currently have a Backflip (please no boos and hisses) I know it's horrible. I also have a Mytouch 3G Slide that I am trying to get unlocked so I can live out my horrid existence of a contract with AT&T. But I have had some issues getting my unlock code as I guess my phone is "too new" of a build date. No one seems to be able to get the code for me. I have tried online sources and local. All come back with no codes for your IMEI.
Any tips or tricks (or a time line to expect on when the code might be available) would be helpful.
