Root [H631/MS631] CyanogenMod 12.1 for LG G Stylo

This may be a bit too late but better now than never. How can I send you a log cat? Or may I do something else that can help you in anyway @Noobified I've been using this as my daily driver and I have experienced some bugs but I'm sure they're nothing you can't take on :thumbsupdroid:
 
Anyone else having call audio problems during lengthy calls? After a few minutes, call audio goes silent and I can't hear the other person anymore but they can hear me. Any ideas? Running the latest CM build.
 
No LED, tap to wake, video recording. Download GPS Locker and GPS should work, if not it crashes the phone. I think that's it.
 
Soooooo I haven't done much research, but I have heard that at first TWRP gave people with the 10j update a half screen problem. I have a MetroPCS Stylo and started out with 10j, got TWRP and had no problems, but when I flashed the 7/14 build it glitched out on me. The boot animation only showed the top, and when it finished booting, only the top third to half of my screen had any content, I couldn't touch anything. Lastly, when I pressed the power button to turn the screen on after the display timed out, it stayed black, wouldn't show anything. So, user error or should us metro people with 10j just stay away for now? TIA

EDIT: Sorry for the paragraph guys, just did some more reading and I see what the problem is

the issues you describe sound like the problems people had that got the second batch of stylos that had the different panel. that is why the different version of twrp was made for them...did you install that twrp or the original version of twrp?
 
Yep, that's what it was thanks. I installed the 10j TWRP because that's what my Stylo shipped with. So this CM12.1 is a no go correct?

well i dont think this cm12.1 is the cause of the issue...people reported the problem with seeing half the screen when they flashed the wrong version of twrp not a rom...i thought people only had an issue upon flashing the incorrect version of twrp for their panel. there arent different versions of the rom based on panels you know what i mean?

i dont know if that will solve the problem or cause more...so you might want to wait for someone else to chime in...

@DQScott95 @ButtsCarlton The link I posted is the kernel source and cannot be flashed to the device. It was merely linked to show I finished adding support for the new stylo revision. There has not been a new build, but I have linked another dev my work who has the device so they can test notification LED implementation. If the LED is still having issue, I have all the proper source available to compile a new build when he responds tomorrow or maybe in a few days. When there is a new build, the link will be posted on here stating there is a new build with a change log.

Its been a month since we got any information. Any news on the status of the update? I'm thinking about switching back to the stock ROM because I've been running into issues lately but I want to know the status of the CM build before I do.

Sadly, it seems that the development has stopped entirely. I recommend switching to the debloated rom by turbo on XDA.
