Handcent won't send sms

Hi.

For some days ago i did following to get more battery time out of my Samsung Galaxy S2.

1. Dialscreen: * # * # 4636 # * # *
2. Made a change in "Set preferred network type", picked GSM auto (PRL).

After that change I couldn't send messages in Handcent or the stock sms app.

I found out that I needed to write the SMSC again. I wrote my SMSC number in the stock app, and it now works fine again. But I can't find a place to write the number in Handcent. I have tried to write the number in the same screen as I changed the GSM auto (PRL). It has no effect. Furthermore I have also tried to re-install Handcent, no effect.

Can someone help me out?

As Handcent uses the stock app rather than replaces it it sounds like it has lost the stock app settings; uninstall and re-install?

I thought that to, but no. I have uninstalled and re-installed Handcent. Now I have also tried to install Go SMS Pro, it wont send either. I really dont now where to adjust the "mistake"!

Ask your network provider to resend you out the message settings? They usually do this via text and you then save it to your phone; some providers allow you to do it from your online account on their website.

See if that resolves it?
