Help Have I killed my Desire?

Hi all,

I think I killed my desire. It was on three network and I managed to root it and installed Oxygen. I used the phone for about one week before I started having withdrawal symptoms in hot having the sense UI. Okay call me whatever you like but I like that UI.
Now for the problem

The bootloader means you're putting an old RUU on. What's the filename of the RUU?

Hi there I tried on of these:
RUU_Bravo_H3G_UK_1.20.771.3_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_124822.exe
RUU_Bravo_H3G_UK_1.22.771.1_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_127568_signed.exe

I thought that once I have one of these I would then update as usual. I know that this could kill the screen functions as mine isn't a AMOLED. But there ways to sort those things out but my case is a bit more severe, I think.

Then pull battery to endure off. Hold back and power to get to fastboot.

Wait 5 seconds and plug usb in. Wait 5 more then run the RUU above
