Well, as there's this nice little banner asking for an introduction, here is mine. 
I'm Volkmar and I live in southern germany, with my wife, our little son and two cats.
For several years now I am a user of smartphones, and recently I switched to an android-based one, the HTC Desire HD.
Since I am a professional software-developer with a focus on java-development, it's only natural that I am attracted to Android and of course, I already started to develop a little app, too.
Since I have a lot of questions, I finally found my way here into this forum, and hope that I will find a few answers here.
