Help Help I feel so dumb

I have just got my desire back from t mob after having the mother board replaced, So i have signed back in to my G mail account and sync'd the phone.when i go to the market and go to my apps its empty?

If i go to app management on the phone menu and look at the sd card where most of my apps were stored it's empty?

Should my desire not refind my apps?

Can't you just Download em again? Any paid ones wont need to be paid for again.
