HELP? Will not boot up

Hi
I noticed my phone was in the Safe Mode [symbol bottom left]
I tried to use menu and on off switch pressed and now the phone will just not start up at all.
Its a T Mobile Uk phone and all I get after pressing start is a red circle in centre of screen!
PLEASE help?
