Root Help with CMR

Hey guys. I rooted my stock 2.1 Droid with an app called Easy Root (I know, n00b). I downloaded ROM Manager and all that good stuff. I'm currently trying to upgrade to the rooted official Froyo that just leaked. Every time I start recovery mode, it will only last about 10 seconds before simply disappearing and rebooting the phone. What little I manage to do within that 10 seconds simply returns the error message, "Can't mount SD Card." What's going on?

Try powering off your phone, taking the battery out for at least a good minute, and then removing and re-inserting the SDCard into its slot.

Never mind. Got it to work, somehow. Yay! Froyo!
