Hi, am in ghana and am using g1, i try to download applications like whatsup and it doesnt work. Many vital applications are not able to be downloaded

Welcome aboard. If you're able to access the Google Play store, but cannot install the app in question, then you might need to clear data from the play store app. You can find this inside applications.

Also, here is a link to that app. Try this: remove and reinsert the battery - then try to install this.
