Help How Do I Display Current Network in Status Bar in Marshmallow?

Does anyone know how to have the current selected network displayed in the status bar? I can pull down the menu twice and see it there, and also on the lock screen, but not when I press the home button. (Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, Updated to Marshmallow 6.0.1, NOT rooted)
I have Dev options and System IU turned on and ready to roll if need be.
Thanks!

That's not a standard Android option in my experience. Did your phone allow this before the update? If so it's a Sony thing rather than an Android one, which means I don't know where they would have put it (if it still exists).

It's easy to put this info on a home screen - a simple Zooper widget can do that, probably many others too. In the status bar I don't know though.
