$229 plus tax for a one year contract.I don't think that's too bad. Got the car dock included for the normal one year price thanks to my business discount =).I'm never getting a two year contract again.
If you bitch enough, they will agree to send you a free X. I did this a month ago and they sent me a free incredible. It does work, just tell them your service sucks and you are going to move to sprint. You guys can flame me if you want for suckering them into sending me free phones, but I pay $250 a month for two phones unlimited everything, and have for 2 years. They have way more of my money then I have of theirs. Not to mention, I NEVER get close to 1500 minutes used between both phones per month.
That is a good price. I think I'm going to refuse my shipment and re-order sometime next week with a 1 year contract. Hopefully I'll be able to use one of the promo codes as well.
Just wondering how much of you folks paid for your Droid X?
I ordered mines online $99.99 (not including tax).
Although its still being processed. I hope I get it by tomorrow.
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but my renewal date is Monday and I am curious what people who just got their DX are paying with renewal contracts. I am coming from a BB Storm (1).
I got mine free last week. I was an AT&T customer, and a friend posted an online deal about a free Droid X. I jumped on it. So I actually paid $101.96 for Mobile Device Protection ($69.99), a Platinum car charger ($9.99), red silicone cover ($11.99), and a screen protector ($9.99). I got $3 roadside assistant (I hope that's a one charge fee), and my activation fee will be waved.
My purchase was actually done through Dell. I got the same plan and prices I had with AT&T, and I can already tell the reception is better than AT&T has in my area.
