How satisfied are you with your Atrix?

While it is the best phone that I've ever owned, it does have its shortcomings, as does every phone out there. I voted "no hurry to switch" (guessing that means that I'm satisfied). I find some of the complaints I read on the forums valid and having merit, some due to operator error, and some pretty ridiculous and petty.

I like it. But I feel something is missing. Oh yeah BBM. hehe This phone is AMAZING when it is rooted with GingerBlur. Oh how I love the ability to Sideload apps and the ability to use Amazon Apps.

You can try Whatsapp app, it's feature is very similar to BBM. It can be used across all platforums (BBOS and iOS) and uses your data to send messages.

I love that the programs I would use the most, like gps mapping tools came stock as well as an office suite, dlna, etc. There are also better options for some programs I use most, I tried astrid with several of its plugins and already am impressed without having even looked at another task app. (I just wish it could be integrated into the calendar widget for side by side viewing of due dates and tasks! ).

Astrid has the ability to sync to your calander. In Advanced tab - > check off 'create Calander Event'

i have had more cellphones than women(1),and still with her, and so many cells over the past x amount of years(1996-230x?)and so far the android os works for me best! the iphone 4 is and was nice, but i missed flash,altho' the mrs. swears it is tops, i could survive flashless, and smaller screen! im not harking on it, its just not fer me! the nexus one still impresses me although i have moved up in my honest opinion, to the Atrix, and it is fantastic! i can view it in the sun,its fast,larger screen, and pretty much compares close enough to the nexus that i dont feel leftout! my 9 yr old love my Android cuz he gets to see dragon ball z, and cartoonnetwork on it! my 15.6 year old is still tru to her ipod 4 ios that she refused an offer to get an Atrix wtf she is very serious by the by, and unlike father she is all AP courses! mindless drivel end, sorry fr the lack of, lack of content,composure and shiete like that! sincerely me.

That may not be your Atrix, the casino may be reponsible.. for example, I know a casino here in the Reno area where your cell will not work inside., go out the door and everything works fine.. Now, I would imagine that the casinos story has something to do with preventing cheating or something, but it is more likely that they think it keeps people in the casino longer.

in my room? lol I have more reception in the casinos than I did in my room, but there are some places where no one would be able to contact me at all. When I had my Nokia, I had full bars.

I love my Atrix. I rooted it and froze the crapware. This really helps. I also use launcher pro Plus, which is a world better than Moto Blur.

Absolutely. I use LauncherPro. Its perfect for everything I do.

I tried HTC Inspire before trying Atrix. As far as user interface and functionality, the Inspire was heads and shoulders better than the Atrix. The two areas where it was a dealbreaker were size and battery life. It was just too big to fit comfortably in my hand or in my pocket. The battery life was terrible. I tried everything short of rooting and could not get it to reliably last a day.

The first Atrix was returned because it had a hardware problem (the accelerometer was intermittent). The second one is likely to go back because I have just had it with AT&T. If it was not for that, it is a functional phone that can most probably be made into a good phone with rooting and getting rid of all the crap that comes with it.

I have had my atrix for about 1 month now and just added on the 3200 mah seido battery pack. I installed the battery left widget which helps with calibrating the battery and the life on this thing is unreal. After first full recharge from 0 % to charging it 3 hrs past the full light being displayed Im getting rediculous video run time. Lastnight from a full charge I let HBO GO Run videos using my wifi here at home for 8 hrs str8. Now thats sick.... I loved the phone before and now even more with new seido 3200 mah. Best phone by far I have ever owned....
